Spring Lake High School is located in Spring Lake, Michigan, in the United States, in the Spring Lake Public School District, serving grades 9-12.
Enrollment surpassed over 900 students in 2005. 13.8% of students are considered economically disadvantaged. The student body is 96.1% white, 1.2% African American, and 1.6% Asian American. The average class size at SLHS is 21.8 students. SLHS has 50 faculty members, and 43.2% of the faculty have a master's degree.
The school operates on a tri-mester schedule where students complete 7.5 credits each year and 2.5 credits per term (5 periods each school day). Currently, SLHS offers AP courses in U.S. History, Economics, Biology, Spanish, English, and Calculus, as well as IB Courses in World History, Biology, Chemistry, Spanish, English, Calculus, and Psychology. Prior to graduating, seniors must accumulate eighteen (18) hours of community service or enroll in the Civics lecture course in order to take part in the graduation ceremonies.

Spring Lake Public Schools has four campuses and five academic buildings with the high school being the largest facility. The newest facility is the Holmes Elementrey and Jeffers. They are doing a complete new building for each. The current high school building opened its doors in September 2000, and an adjacent community aquatic and fitness center opened September 2008.

Spring Lake High School shares a building with the Spring Lake Community Fitness and Aquatic Center. This aquatic center includes a family pool, competitive pool (practice center for swimming and diving), and several workout rooms and gyms. Bands
Spring Lake High School has an award-winning band. The marching band show in 2016, Music of the Night, received many awards. At the Kenowa Hills Knight Time Classic, they received 2nd place. At the Grand Haven invitational, they received 1st place. At the Allendale Invitational, they received first place in their class, as well as Grand Champions. At the East Kentwood invitational, they received 1st place. Spring Lake High School Laker Marching Band is a class B band.
